After advisory on 9/30, please post something positive that you learned in class...
Make sure you took notes in your notebooks and are prepared for the school trip next Wednesday on 10/7... perhaps you should also brainstorm a list of questions you might have for the people in charge at Road Trip Nation in case we get a chance to ask them.

Today I learned that they're are many different ways on how restaurants work. Like the one Raisa told me about (Sushi Village) where she said that you can order anything you want as long as your able to eat it all.
ReplyDeleteToday I learned about how when Edina does go to restaurants, she usually order things she wouldn't normally eat on a daily basis.
ReplyDeletetoday ive learned that to be sucess in life you need to face risks and try different technieques to succed.
ReplyDeleteToday I learned the differnce bewtween getting up and going to work and getting up and wanting to go to work. Having a job you love would make you want to go to work.
ReplyDeleteToday I learned that I shoudn't be afraid to make decisions in my life because when you grow up, if you are unhappy with what you are doing, you have the freedom to change your mind and career path.
ReplyDeleteToday I learned that luck has nothing to do with the outcome of something. The only way that something you want to come out right is when you put hard work into it.
ReplyDeletetoday i learned that your career path can change and that you shoundnt do something that you dont wanbt to do, like if you go to school for teaching but it is a chore to wake up in the morning and do that, than youshould change your career path to make yourself happy :)
ReplyDeleteHey.
ReplyDeleteToday in advisory I learned a lot about Mr. LoPorto and how he majored in Math and secondary teaching. I learned also how Leni wants to become a therapist and how Stefani want to become a Vet.
I liked how Lesson 3 told us that you can try whatever you want and that you don't have to dedicate your whole life to one job, it should be on something you like.
And Mr. LoPorto's name is Matthew.
Today I learned that there is a difference between work and life's work which is that life's work is something you dream of doing while work is just the exact opposite.
ReplyDeleteToday during advisory I have learned that hard work can help you reach your long term goals in addition to short term goals. "Hardwork v. Luck" was the name of our groups lesson in which we presented. From understanding this topic, I have learned that luck has nothing to do with becoming successful; It all depends on how hard you work and the amount of effort you decide to put into becoming successful on anything - such as a test, job interview, athletic game, etc.
ReplyDeleteToday I learned you have to work hard for things you want and luck doesn't have anything to do with success
ReplyDeleteI did chapter 6 and i leanred that it doesnt have to do with the luck, it has to do with the hard work you put in it.
ReplyDeletei learned that when we go out and explore and get out of or comfort zones, we need self-confidence. To boost self-confidence, you may need to fake it and take risks, and have a distinction.
ReplyDeleteTo be distinct from everyone else means to knoww what you do well, have an opinion, and don't care whether other people share the same opinion as you.
I learned that to build self-confidence, you need to take risks and not worry about whether others share the same opinion as you.
ReplyDeleteTODAY I LEARNED THAT EDINA DIDNT LIKE SUSHI!! WHO DOESNT LIKE SUSHI!?!?!? but now she does so its all good ;) i also learned that confidence is important to have. We all need to be confident so we can take risks and be outside of our comfort zone. :)
ReplyDeleteTHE END
